I am using a firewall or a router and get "Net is too slow" all the time, what can I do?

Your firewall or router is probably set to block "Ping" traffic, you can either enable this traffic or you can enable Use Proxy information for calibrating under Options - Proxy. Note that you do not want any proxy information entered in the above two fields (address and port) - enabling this just switches from "Ping" calibration to "Http" calibration.

Make sure that you are using the latest update. The latest version of SiteMonNak has a fix for this Norton AntiVirus issue.

My site is reliable at the present, how can I test what a failure may look like?

We are running a test page at www.nakware.com/cgi-bin/sitemonnak-test.cgi, use this URL to temporally replace your current URL.

This page gives a 5xx error for 3 minutes then a 4xx error for 3 minutes then should be good for 4 minutes and repeats this cycle.

If you are unsure if your site uses hidden redirection then enable it.
